The Vaccine Board Research Institute (VBRI) is an elite vaccine production and research organization located in Hyderabad, South India. As part of Indian Immunological Limited (IIL) and operating under the Ministry of Health, Government of India, VBRI plays an important role in the nation’s immunization efforts, producing a wide range of life-saving vaccines.

State-of-the-Art Vaccine Facility

In 2017-2018, for the construction of VBRI’s innovative production facility Chempharm was entrusted, as pioneer in delivering high-quality turnkey solutions for cleanroom and pharmaceutical environments. The facility was designed and built to meet the stringent standards of ISO Class 7 and ISO Class 8 cleanrooms, assuring the particle free sterile environment which is crucial for the process of Vaccine research and production process.

Civil Works: The team of Chempharm ensured that the structural design and construction of the facility was optimized for large-scale vaccine production and research while ensuring regulatory standards.

Cleanroom Solutions: Installation of ISO Class 7 and ISO Class 8 cleanrooms, was completed while ensuring an extremely clean and sterile environment which is critical for vaccine manufacturing.

HVAC System: Specialized Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems customized to maintain precise environmental controls crucial for controlled and temperature-sensitive processes.

Electrical System: Comprehensive electrical infrastructure was designed, ensuring reliable power distribution throughout the plant for optimized operations.
